Located in the basement of the 18th century Condes de Linhares palace, Casa de Linhares’s seven-meter-high vaulted ceiling, stone columns and red brick interior take the atmospheric enjoyment of fado to new heights. Chef Emília Costa prepares tasty Portuguese dishes alongside wines from the cellar that date back to the 80s, while the likes of Maria da Nazaré, Celeste Rodrigues, Ana Moura, Raquel Tavares and Manuel Bastos fill the cavernous, candlelit space with their extraordinary voices.
