Founded in 1959, by Bernardo Pinto Basto de Lencastre, Antique was originally based in Estoril, on the iconic and prestigious street: Avenida de Nice. The interiors had the hand of artist Pedro Leitão, who created a cosy ambience for the glittering objects to shine. Today, the family is passionately involved in the business.

In 1997, a second store opened in the heart of Lisbon, at the legendary Ritz Four Seasons Hotel, nestled in the middle of an eclectic mix of mid-20th-century Portuguese art, by the hands of visionary Graça Viterbo, a reference in the world of interiors.
It is now the brand´s flagship store.
