Credited with initiating Portugal’s fashion industry at the beginning of the 70s, Ana Salazar, the daughter of painter and architect Oscar Pinto Lobo, is considered Lisbon’s First Lady of fashion. Her pioneering styles are heavily inspired by her entourage of artists and writers, and very popular with Lisbon’s high society. She has also designed theatre costumes, airline uniforms, eyewear collections, a line of jeans (AS), home textiles, ceramics and fragrances for women and men.
