VERA World Fine Art Festival started in 2004 as an extension and same approach, of the Moscow Annual International Art Festival "Traditions and Contemporaneity", one of the largest and most comprehensive art events in the world.
The festival aims to foster the art market and the rise of new artist's generations, through the promotion of the internalization of art and fostering the cultural exchange and dialogue among participant countries.
This year, the 11th edition of VERA will take place in Lisbon at Cordoaria Nacional from 8th to 16th October.
In previous editions, VERA festival exhibited works from 4500 art galleries, artists from more than 40 countries, was visited by more than 2.000.000 people and awarded more than 200 international artists.
The festival features not only the exhibition but also a set of conferences, lectures, master classes, round tables and seminars where the movements and trends in contemporary art will be lead by curators, renowned artists and critics.
