Over the last years the festival, previously named Optimus Alive, has been responsible by a an impressive artists' line-up. Names such as Muse, Bob Dylan, The Cure, James Bay, Altr-J, Artic Monckeys, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, along with electronic acts and DJs like Disclosure, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers.
Set in the heart of Lisbon the festival has become synonymous with sun, sea, sand and exceptional musical programming. It’s the ultimate designation for lovers of music and culture.
The festival is located in the heart of Lisbon, a 5-minute drive from the capital’s beautiful historical landmarks and bustling nightlife. With some of Europe’s best beaches and surfijulyg spots only 15 minutes away and temperatures reaching 30 degrees during the day, NOS Alive is very much a ‘beach by day, music by night’ destination festival.
