GERMINAL. The Cabrita Reis section

GERMINAL. The Cabrita Reis section in MAAT is the first big exhibition on Pedro Cabrita Reis’s collection, which was acquired by EDP Foundation in 2015.

The exhibition includes a vast and significant set of works, emphasizing mostly the initial and founding moments of the careers of Portuguese artists – an approach which gave the exhibition its title – and whose careers have been consolidated over time.

The exhibition includes not only a vast representation of the 90's generation but it includes also artists from earlier and later generations. Across the collection, it is clear the visionary and attentive eye of Pedro Cabrita Reis as the art collector.
