Christmas is already less than one month ahead, and as every year during the festivities, the twinkling lights spread Christmas magic around the city.
On Saturday the 26th, the Christmas lights will be turned on and enchant city's mains avenues and neighborhoods. For the event that will mark the season's opening in town, there are some surprises prepared in the city centre. The hot spot for the night will be Terreiro do Paço, where a giant Christmas Tree was installed.
In Avenida da Liberdade, and Chiado will be the best neighborhoods to feel the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy the best of the season. Ramble up and down in the hills, and get some Christmas presents in some of the best shops in town, such as Vida Portuguesa or in some little historical shop for a special gift. Instead, you can also let yourself go, and sit throughout the afternoon at charming historical cafe and enjoy all the Christmas buzz around you...
Later in December, from the 14th to 23th, will be performed at Terreiro do Paço the new video mapping show "Nicolau's New Palace". The show will happen daily in the following times 7:00pm, 7.45 pm and 8:00pm
