Following the overwhelming response to the launch of the 2015 Private Jet experiences, Four Seasons announces the launch of a re-imagined version of the perennial favourite; Around the World journey, built around the themes of adventure and cultural exploration in keeping with the evolving needs of discerning clients who seek to create memorable moments. This 25-day journey is filled with incredible adventures - Soar by zip-line across the rain forest canopy of Costa Rica, hike Australia's Jenolan Caves, kayak through Malaysian mangroves and experience the "Big Five" on a Serengeti game drive.

Lisbon is one of the highlights of the Around the World trip - and the Jet's last stop - where guests will be able to discover the churches and public squares of the historic Chiado district. Visit São Jorge Castle and the Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood. Tour Sintra, traditional home of the Portuguese kings; Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point; and the seaside city of Cascais. Guests will also sample local culture with visits to a tile-making workshop and a winery, and celebrate their journey at a gala farewell dinner at Jerónimos Monastery, a monument to the Age of Discovery commemorating Vasco da Gama’s voyage to India.

Whether or not readers are boarding the Four Seasons Jet on September 17th, the Jet Fuel mocktail, Cloud9 at the Ritz Bar is packed with anti-oxidants, vitamins, calcium, potassium and magnesium, and finalized with a few drops of Tabasco –   the perfect ally to help travelers fight jet lag. "So, after the seat-belt sign has been turned off, and the Four Seasons Jet air attendant asks if you fancy a drink, ask for a Cloud9, sit back and enjoy your flight" says Ritz Bar Manager Ricardo Felgueiras.

For 2017, two visits to Lisbon are also in the Jet's plans - for the Global Getaway trip (March), the 24-day exploration begins with the urban sophistication of Singapore before landing at the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Guests go on to explore the deserts of Dubai and sample the cultural treasures of Europe in Budapest, the French Riviera, and Lisbon. Then cross the Atlantic to relax on the tranquil island of Nevis, discover Colombia’s “capital of cool,” and celebrate their journey on the white-sand beaches of Miami.

For the Culinary Discoveries trip (May), a groundbreaking journey developed in partnership with world-renowned Copenhagen restaurant Noma, guests can track the evolution of food, culture and creativity across Asia and Europe. Curated by René Redzepi and Noma, they’ll enjoy an insider’s look into the people, places, and products that are changing the culinary landscape of our world.

Lisbon cuisine bears the hallmarks of a variety of rich culinary traditions, from the seafood of the traditional Portuguese maritime culture to the delicate spices of North Africa and the fiery flavors of the New World. Guests will join acclaimed Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes on a food tour of Lisbon followed by lunch, or carry on and let him show the best of Lisbon's night life and street food, while their time in Portugal is capped with a gala dinner of modern takes on Portuguese classics at Belcanto, José Avillez’s two-star Michelin restaurant.
