Âme Moi is one of the youngest Portuguese luxury brands, however its success is landing it worldwide. From Portugal throughout all of Europe, Asia and Africa.

A leather goods label, Âme Moi hails from Famalicão, a town in the north of Portugal, close to Oporto and close to São João da Madeira. The region that is famous in Portugal for premium quality in shoemaking and skilled leather craftsmen.

Behind Âme Moi are Alberto Gomes and Margarida Jacome who decided to promote the traditional craftsmanship and regional cultural heritage by creating a luxury accessory brand, and to spread it worldwide. Hence Âme Moi gathered the best leather craftsmen and the design Carlota Costa, to create true objects of desire.

Luxurious hand crafted accessories, combine both precious metals with unexpected materials such as horsehair. The delicate, detailed purses not only became an instant success but were quick to create a buzz in the fashion world.

After its initial success in Portugal, in 2016 its cruise collection at Milan Fashion Week, jump-started the brand into the international market arena.

Loyal to Portuguese heritage, the collection features purses inspired on Portuguese cobblestones, Lisbon's yellow tram line, the Fado singer Amalia Rodrigues, etc. More recently Âme Moi launched its capsule collection, inspired in the Portuguese modernist painter Amadeo de Souza Cardoso, who's works were recently exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris. For this collection, Âme Moi specially invited Isabel Rebello de Andrade, the artist's great-grandniece to design a six piece collection inspired in the master works of Amadeo de Souza Cardoso. This collection, named Pour Lucie, is an homage to the artist's beloved, with whom he fell in love when he lived in Paris.

Furthermore, in 2018 to honour a century of Amadeo's death and to celebrate his life and work, Âme Moi will present Pour Lucie collection at the MoMa, in New York.
